Welcome to the website of Elaine Murray, Member of the Scottish Parliament for Dumfries Constituency since

I have three members of staff working in my constituency office at 5 Friars Vennel, Dumfries - Fiona Rae, Joanne Duffy and Jeff Leaver. I share the Dumfries office with my Westminster colleague, Russell Brown, Labour MP for Dumfries and Galloway. Russell and his staff can be contacted on 01387 247902.
My responsibilities in the Scottish Parliament include membership of the Rural Affairs and Environment Committee, Labour spokeperson on the Environment, Convenor of the Cross Party Group on Science and Techology, Convenor of the Cross Party Group on Civil Nuclear Energy, Co-Convenor of the Cross Party Group on Life Sciences and Vice-Convenor of the Cross Party Group on Animal Welfare.
